Is Filmmaking Worth it?

    Why make films?

This is the question we as filmmakers wrestle with every day.

When we describe a day of work to someone outside of what we do, it sounds legitimately crazy to them.

    Sometimes it actually is.

If you’re a filmmaker you know this business is hard work. If you’re not yet, but want to be one, this is something you need to understand as soon as possible. It is not for the meek or timid, and requires thick skin and a soft heart.

Let this video be an encouragement to push through the difficulties of this world, rather than a discouragement from entering it in the first place.

Anything worth doing is going to be difficult, and require great patience and sacrifice.

As the great leader, Master Yoda once said, “Do or do not…there is no try.”
