Why Movies Are So Important to Us

Stories impact us all in some way or another. But film seems to be one of our generation’s favorite way of telling stories. Of course, there are many outlets that people use to tell stories but there is something different about movies. Maybe its the whole experience of going out, buying popcorn and sitting in front of a massive screen that sets it apart. Thats what movies are all about, the experience. You walk alongside the characters in their life and through that you can learn about your own. They give us new perspectives to situations that we can relate to (even if it includes genetically modified dinosaurs). Movies give us the intimacy and vulnerability that all humans desire.
