Jackman’s Got Me Jacked For Logan

It’s been almost twenty years since Hugh Jackman started playing Wolverine… which is why I know that I have no right to say I don’t want him to go… but I don’t.

There are just certain people that were born for the role, Robert Downey Jr. for Iron Man, James Earl Jones for Darth Vader and Hugh Jackman for Wolverine.

However sad I was when I heard this would be Jackman’s final bow as the character, I was even more excited to hear that his last movie would be adapting Marvel’s Old Man Logan story, and this trailer solidified my excitement.

Superhero movies have been the biggest thing since sliced bread lately, so much so that many are getting a bit fatigued by them. However, Logan seems to be breaking the tropes and giving us more of a character drama that builds upon twenty years of character building.

Don’t see what I mean? Try watching the trailers for Logan and X-Men (2000) back to back.
