Vancouver and Its Identity Crisis in Popular Movies

I’ve never been to Vancouver, and I really don’t know much about it… other than it doubles for just about every North American city in popular movies and T.V. shows. From actual cities like New York in movies like Fantastic Four and Elf, and fictional cities like Starling City in TV Show Arrow or Central City in The Flash.

Vancouver always doubles for another city, but hardly ever plays itself.

Check out Every Frame a Painting’s analysis of this largely ignored city that has an identity all it’s own apart from the popular movies filmed there.
