Galaxy Quest is an Underrated Classic and You Need to See It Now

When you have a conversation among film school students about great movies, you hardly ever hear about Galaxy Quest. This comedy came out of nowhere, released in 1999 with an all star cast (Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, Alan Rickman, Sam Rockwell, Justin Long, etc.) and lovingly satirizes Star Trek, while creating an adventure tale that rivals the best of them.

Imagine my surprise when I saw YouTuber Movies with Mikey’s review of this hidden gem. Check out what he has to say, and then watch it and ask yourself… why isn’t this a more popular movie?
