Short Film, “Finished”, Is Full Of Inspiration

This short film about overcoming great challenges, overflows with motivation and inspiration. It’s about life, directly reflecting what it’s like to face difficulties and how to overcome them.

For being a motivational video, it is excellently done. The harsh conditions and blizzard which the character goes through are exactly what it feels like when you’re trying to overcome an obstacle in your life. The mountain is tough, but worth the climb.

The character holds on to the advice his father gave him and it helped him to keep pushing through. I especially like this aspect of the video because it reminded me to hold onto the advice I had been taught when I was a child.

I’ve seen so many short motivational videos which show a montage of clips and various shots with narration over the top. But this one is different.

It uses everything element so purposefully and everything serves the message. From the music to the visuals to the narration. In this way the message resounds and cuts deeper than the other motivational videos which just focus on what is said. It all comes back to visual storytelling.

I like the truth found in this short. It’s well executed and filled with good advice. May it serve as an inspiration to you as well.

Watch Finished here.
