You Need to Watch All the Best Visual Effects Winners Ever

From the explosion of mighty vessels in black and white movies, to a community of hungry dinosaurs, audience’s jaws have been dropping at the amazing spectacle of visual effects since 1928. What happened in 1928? Wings, a daredevil World War I movie, received an award for best picture, due to its technical effects. It indeed was a spectacle for visual effects in its day.

However the first award officially given to a film for visual effects was ten years later for a film called, Spawn of the North. Ever since then, creative minds have continually pushed for bigger and more immaculate creations.

As we close on the 2018 Academy Awards, let’s look back on one category, and see just exactly how to make movies with stunning visual effects.
