Winnie the Pooh has been a source of inspiration for children and adults alike for near a century. With the release of 2017’s Goodbye Christopher Robin from 20th Century Fox, it’s now Disney’s turn to take on the beloved world of 100 Acre Woods in their live action Christopher Robin.

The story follows the now grown up Christopher, played by Ewan McGregor who’s work life is starting to take more precedence over his family, but Winnie The Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and all the rest leave the 100 Acre Woods to rescue their long-lost childhood friend from losing his family.

“Perhaps it’s our turn to save Christopher.” Winnie the Pooh

In a world consumed by demands and productivity, I think Winnie The Pooh and his friends are the super heros we need right now to remember to be active in our community and make our friends and family a precedent.
