The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Has Me Under its Spell

In an age where re-boots are around every corner, the last thing I thought I wanted was another “innovative” re-boot … and then I saw a trailer for The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. I’ll admit it, I was a huge fan of Sabrina the Teenage Witch and if you would have told me a few months ago Netflix and CW were bringing it back, I’d probably just roll my eyes and ask why, but then they dropped a photo of the shooting script and I was hooked.

Sabrina isn’t just back she’s completely re-invented. Based off of a comic book of the same title The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is aiming for a horror comedy vibe, more akin to things like Rosemary’s Baby and Sam Raimi’s The Evil Dead than it’s Saved By the Bell-esque predecessor.

Dropped on October 26th, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is an inspiration to re-boots everywhere and just might be the perfect example of how something should be re-booted.
