The New Doctor Takes Her First Plunge

For incredible action sequences, you need an innovative team of actors and creative stunt coordinators to pull it off. Some stunts have doubles, while others throw the actors into the hot seat. Don’t worry, though, the stunt coordinators make sure they’re safe.

In this video, Jodie Whittaker and the stunt team from Doctor Who unpack the Doctor’s crane leap from the first episode of season 11, where she leaps from one crane to another to save the day. Whittaker talks about what it takes to film such a scene along with some of the emotions that go along with it.

Learning how to make movies and tv shows can be made much easier with an experienced film crew to help with stunts, lighting, costuming.
