Reeling in a Star to the Vice Presidency

Did you see the creative make-up winner from the Oscars? It’s Vice.

But how did Christian Bale get the part? He wasn’t originally interested and turned down the roll. The director didn’t take no for an answer.

In this video, Christian Bale goes into some of the things he had to do to get into character.

“I wing it over a long period of time.” – Christian Bale

He doesn’t subscribe to any known acting technique so “winging it” is probably the best description. Beyond his prep, he give a glimpse into being the victim … I mean canvas for the Oscar winning makeup.

With all the nominations in this year’s Academy Awards, a film like Vice is an inspiration to actors and filmmakers alike.
