See Just How Much You Can Learn From Bad CGI

In the past few weeks, I’ve found myself gaining tons of inspiration watching the Corridor Crew Series titled ‘VFX Artists React To Bad And Great CGI’ on YouTube.

I’ve become obsessed, and although I’m certainly not a Visual Effects Artist and before watching this series I knew nothing, I’ve learned so much, not just about CGI, but about lighting, camera work, and how to organize the shoot while keeping the post-production phase in mind.

This series is growing and so there are over 12 or so episodes now, which goes to show how popular it is. Many of their fans continue to ask them to deconstruct more and more movies, and they do not disappoint with all their knowledge about how much goes into each story.

If you have any interest in film, storytelling, or anything to do with computer graphics etc, then this is for you because you can learn so much simply by listening to professionals have a conversation about what they know.

Here is the first of the series. Each one gets more and more interesting as the series goes on. If you watch it, I’m confident you’ll get just as much inspiration from it as I did.
