It’s Time To Take Your Credits To The Next Level

If you want to learn how to make movies that are great from start to finish, you’ve got to know that your credits are important to the film! Movies may all call for simple white, blocky text over a black screen, but there is a way to get more creative!

Filmmaker, Ryan Connolly from the popular YouTube channel, Film Riot recently made some incredible looking credits by using something called a “snorkel lens.”

An incredibly long, 24mm lens that is able to fit in tight spaces is what seamlessly captured up-close shots of one of the main elements in Connoly’s latest short film, There Comes A Knocking. Pairing this with a motorized slider, slow motion capturing, and a gritty colour grade, these end credits look epic!
