Writing For Children’s Television

This vlog is for creative people who want to know how to write great content for children’s television. This is a great responsibility that takes people who are passionate to do it well. Take Fred Rogers, for example, who spent most of his adult life teaching children how to express themselves and the emotions they feel inside. He wrote episodes by hand and chose important topics like imagination, creating, and kindness as well as more difficult topics like divorce, war, racism, and death.

The things children pick up from television can stick with them for the rest of their lives. That’s why it’s such an important job. Are you going to create a show that will be helpful or harmful to children? Let these examples I put together in this vlog be an inspiration for you to get out there and make a difference!
