How To Magically Not Die In A Horror Film For Some Reason

If you’re watching one of the tenacious characters in a horror film, there are some choices you know they’re going to make. You also know they definitely shouldn’t make that choice.

You look at the them making their choices and shout “Don’t be stupid!” But do they listen? No, of course not.

But then there are the charcteres that make the most idiotic choices and you know as they walk into the mist or the darkness or the next room, they’re so toast. We’re going to see their dead body at some point in the near future. And then we see them again, except they’re … alive … for some reason. Check out this video for some of the strangest and most confusing “so … they didn’t die? HOW? How didn’t they die?” moments in horror films. Maybe these can give inspiration to writers on how to write horror films with reasonable deaths.
