“Save the Cat” by Blake Snyder has ten genres that make up the plot of all popular movies. In this series, I go into each of those genres and explain the basics of what the story may look like. 

Dude with a Problem features an innocent hero being thrown into a sudden event, likely with a life or death battle at the end. These can include spy, law enforcement, domestic, epic, and nature styles of problems. What films have you seen that have a tenacious Dude with a Problem?
