Why We All Need A Creative Spark

We all need a creative spark now and then. A little encouragement, insight into how others create and explore and draw from inspiration. That’s why I love this video and the many other “creative sparks” by the channel, Academy Originals, on YouTube. They show me how others operate and help give me ideas to create my own approach.

Finding my own unique style has been half the fun of creating something. I see my personal expression develop. A thing that would be harder without sparks like this clip.

In this specific “Creative Spark”, Rick Carter gives insight into how he turns inspiration into art work. It shows me there is more than one way to skin a cat.

I can get so caught up in the idea that everything has to be done a certain way, that if I don’t follow a certain path, what I do will be wrong. But that’s not true at all. It’s not about finding the “right” path. It’s about finding your path. That’s how this video serves as an inspiration for your own creative spark.
