Gravity Falls: The Perfect Show For Everyone

Gravity Falls is one of those Saturday morning cartoons that is creative enough to be just as compelling for adults.

This incredibly smart show contains tonnes of easter eggs, subtext, foreshadowing, and callbacks. Most younger children will find it entertaining enough to keep their interest but will likely miss the subtle cues written into the story by the show’s creator, Alex Hirsch.

The multiple story layers make it the perfect show for anyone to enjoy:

  • The animation and slapstick humor is kid-friendly.
  • The mildly dark themes and complex character relationships are appropriate for adolescents.
  • The subtle writing and overarching stories, as well as the subtext behind much of the humor is enough for adult fans to discuss and obsess over different theories about what could really be going on.

If you’re looking for something new to entertain yourself or perhaps nerd out with your friends, then the innovative gold that is Gravity Falls will not let you down.
