James Franco has been a household name for more than a decade, with acting roles ranging from the ridiculous, to those that stir a sense of inspiration. Enter The Disaster Artist, which is a film many are declaring as Franco’s crowning achievement for acting, but let’s not forget how he got there.

In this video, Franco’s career is given a wonderfully nostalgic retrospect, ranging from his youngest and charming roles, to his more prestigious roles such as in 127 Hours, where Franco was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor. He has already won a Golden Globe for his Wiseau portrayal, but here’s hoping he finally wins at the Academy for his latest and debatably greatest creative role as Tommy Wiseau.
