.I respect every movie I see now. I can’t really comprehend how any movie is made let alone a good one. The amount of time and energy it takes for a short film to exist in the world is nuts. From thinking of an idea to writing it out, getting equipment, filming it, editing it and showing it to somebody is too much for me to want to engage in emotionally. Don’t even get me started on a feature length.(I actually couldn’t start because I haven’t worked on a feature film yet. Find me in the future and I’ll let you know how it goes!)
2. I understand the importance of discipline now. Lists have helped me tremendously. It makes me feel powerful and accomplished to wake up in the morning make a list and by the end of the day have it all crossed out. I imagine its how Bruce Wayne feels when he’s out and about like Batman talking all horse.
.I have a newfound respect for coffee. Some once said to me “Coffee is the nectar of the gods” and even though I still don’t know which of the Greek and or Roman deity he was referring to I now understand and share the sentiment. Imagine your in a car and it can’t go. Oh No! You look at the dial and it says E. What do you do? You put a dark liquid in it and all the sudden it goes! Just like magic(Why yes I am a mechanic. How could you tell?) Coffee is the dark liquid that makes humans go.
.I know my dreams can become reality. Through hard work and a bit of creativity anything is possible.I never thought I would ever see an idea I thought up for a short film come to reality. Maybe one day I’ll be able to fly…..
.I see my future as a beautiful story waiting to be told. Every day is another piece in the mosaic of life. This idea has made the smaller, challenging, less interesting parts of my life make sense and become enjoyable.
