2016 Actor’s Appreciation Day

    As a filmmaker I often focus on the picture quality, aesthetic, story, and surroundings in movies; all the things that people behind the camera work on.

    But in 2016 I found myself appreciating a lot of the performances most in this years Oscar nominated pictures. I did a little research on what each actor went through to bring their character to life and I was seriously impressed.

    So many actors this year showed an immense amount of dedication to their roles. They were completely invested and I was inspired.

    Now I didn’t want to make a large list of the best performances for sake of it looking like I’m ranking them. Here are just a few of my favorites from 2016.
