Don’t Be Scared of Fear – Use It For Something Positive

When actors like Naomie Harris say they doubt their acting abilities with every new role, they have my attention. Isn’t it comforting to know even experienced actors like her still get scared and doubtful?

She reassures us:

Actors shouldn’t be scared by the fact they’re scared.”

Instead, she explains how we can use it as a motivator and a challenge to make us better as artists.

Her passion for acting is contagious, and her vulnerability is comforting. She reminded me of the incredible privilege actors have. We get to step into other people’s shoes; we’re more similar to than we think.

Be encouraged and inspired. This clip is beneficial to all us actors.
