Here Are The Tips You Need To Edit Quicker!

There’s a lot of independent filmmakers out there putting out great content and helpful information for perfecting your craft. But the more filmmakers I watch, the more I realize Film Riot is unstoppable when it comes to bringing high-quality content, incredible tutorials, and hilarious laughs over there entire time on YouTube. They’re back again with another great video that gives great tips on how we can efficiently edit faster, and with more purpose. In this video, they’ve brought in Emmy Award winning editor, Lucas Harger that gives some tips that may seem like common knowledge, but they’re things that can sometimes be overlooked. Ryan also reviews an awesome piece of tech called a Loupedeck that has any and all shortcut keys you need on one board. It allows you to press one button, instead of googling the shortcut, trying the shortcut, realizing your editing on PC instead of a Mac, and then doing the correct shortcut with three buttons (an actual representation of how I complete new and confusing shortcuts). Check out the video great tips you may have never known, and learn how to make movies and edit faster!
