Fillion has been in a great number of things, but the two he’s best known for are Firefly, where he played Captain Malcolm Reynolds, and his character of Richard Castle in Castle. He’s also played the role of Jacques Snicket in Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events.

Soon, Fillion will be hitting the streets for his latest show, The Rookie. He plays John Nolan, who decides to become an officer in the Los Angeles Police Department. His age and motives are questioned by everyone he comes in contact with.

With an actor like Nathan Fillion, who can play a wide variety of creative characters, this new show will be one to watch.
